The Bubble Nebula. NGC 7635, also known as the Bubble Nebula, is an emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia. Some 7,100 light-years away and 7 light-years across, the Bubble is created by a star at its center some 45 times more massive than our Sun, radiating out tremendous stellar wind and radiation pushing against dense material from a molecular cloud. It was a very bright full moon so it was a great test for the L-extreme filter. I used a ES 127mm FCD100 apo refractor, CGX mount, ASI294mc pro camera and Optolong L-extreme filter. 2014-01-01 · NGC 7635 is a H II region emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia.

Imaged from Guelph, Ontario by Canadian astrophotographer Ron The Bubble Nebula looks like a particularly bright star on the galaxy map, but when you zoom in, you can see that it is a blue nebula in the shape of a bubble. The Bubble Nebula (or NGC 7635) is a parsec-scale seemingly spherical wind- blown bubble around the relatively unevolved O star BD+60°2522. The young 13 Sep 2016 bubblenebulamain. 'The nebula lies along the edge of a large bubble of low-density gas that was blown into space by the dying star prior to its self-detonation.' In 2015, NASA first shared a photo of the Veil that The Bubble Nebula is a beautiful emission nebula discovered by William Herschel in 1787. It lies about 10,000 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia.

Only part of the bubble is visible in this image. The Bubble Nebula is 7 light-years across – about one-and-a-half times the distance from our sun to its nearest stellar neighbor, Alpha Centauri – and resides 7,100 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cassiopeia. The seething star forming this nebula is 45 times more massive than our sun. The Bubble Nebula is an emission nebula located in the northern constellation Cassiopeia. The nebula lies at a distance of 7,100 to 11,000 light years from Earth. It is also known as Caldwell 11 or Sharpless 162.
WR stars emit a lot of particles and energy, enough that they are blowing the bubble seen in this image. The central star of the bubble is between 7,000-11,000 light years away. The Bubble Nebula in Barnard's Galaxy has the official designation of Hubble 1925 I as it was the first (Roman numeral 1) object recorded in a paper by E. Hubble 1925).It includes areas of bright H II emission.
